
Diatonic Instrument Definition dialog box
How to get there
- Choose Window > Score Manager.
- Choose Notation Style > Tablature.
- Click Select, then click the Edit Instrument button.
- Click the Define button.
What it does
In this dialog box, specify the pitch variation, in whole and half steps, for a diatonic fretted instrument. In the text box, enter "1" to specify a pitch variation of a half step from the previous (lower) fret or from the nut. Enter a "2" to specify a pitch variation of a whole step from the previous (lower) fret or from the nut. Separate each entry in this text box with a comma.
- OK • Cancel. Click OK (or press enter) to confirm, or Cancel to discard, your changes and return to the Fretboard Instrument Definition dialog box.
