Note entry
Finale provides you with several ways to enter notes into a score.
- Use Simple Entry to enter music with a mouse, computer keyboard, or MIDI keyboard.
- Use Speedy Entry to enter music in step-time using a MIDI controller for pitch and a computer keyboard for duration.
- Use HyperScribe® to record a real-time MIDI transcription using an external MIDI device such as a MIDI keyboard.
- Use Finale's MIDI file import to transcribe an existing MIDI File into standard notation.
- Use SmartScore Lite to recognize a piece of sheet music from your scanner or from a scanned TIFF file.
