Merge Measures Plug-in

How to get there

1. Choose the Selection tool and select two measures you would like to merge.
2. Choose Plug-ins > Measures > Merge Measures.

What it does

This plug-in can be used to merge two measures created by the Split Measure plug-in, or it can be used to merge any two adjacent measures. It combines two measures selected with the Selection Tool into a single measure. Finale changes the time signature to represent the full value of the new measure. For example, if the first measure has a time signature of 3/4 and the second has a time signature of 5/8, the resulting merged measure will have a time signature of 11/8. Finale also updates the Measure Number dialog box accordingly.
