When the Staff Attributes dialog box is
opened in a part, only staves within the part are accessible. All of the
settings are permanently shared between the score and parts with the exception
of the Staff Name/Abbr. Staff Name positioning. If the Staff Name/Abbr.
Staff Name is repositioned in the part, the link is broken - the change
does not apply to the score or any other part. Future changes to the Staff
Name/Abbr. Staff Name in the score for that staff do not apply to the
part unless the Staff Name/Abbr. Staff Name is relinked (see Relinking part items to the score). (Staff
Name in Parts is unchecked by default. Check this option in the Staff
Attributes dialog box to show staff names in the score and parts.)
