File/Import/MusicXML

Choose Import to open the Import MusicXML dialog box where you can choose a MusicXML file to import. Finale can import MusicXML 3.0 files (compressed and uncompressed, .mxl and .xml), MusicXML 2.0 files, MusicXML 1.1 files, and MusicXML 1.0 files.

Finale 2014 includes the capability to drag-and-drop your MusicXML file onto Finale as well.
