File/Export/EPUB

Choose this command to save the file in EPUB 3 format, which allows you to view the file on mobile readers. Playback data is not saved with EPUB files, as they are intended for viewing only. EPUB is a free and open standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF).

Note: If you plan to publish and sell EPUB files exported from Finale additional updates to the file will be required. For example, you will need to introduce a properly formatted cover image, and create a page list so the EPUB page numbers match the printed page numbers.
